                                                                                                                                                                                     What size unit do I need? Of course, this depends on how much and what you have to store.  Tell us what you have to store and we can often give you a good idea of what size unit will be best for you.Our units are as small as a storage locker and as large as two garages.  We have a list of unit sizes and what they "normally" hold, but sometimes the best idea is to stop by and see for yourself.

 Am I getting the best price?     Our pricing is very competitive with other storage facilities in the area.  We will meet any local competitive pricing, honor competitors coupons and we always give a free lock!

 Can I reserve a unit?  Not really.  Units are first come, first served.  Storage units become available on any day of the week.  Units cannot be "reserved" like a hotel room.  If one is available that is the size you need, it is a good idea to rent it.  If you absolutely need a unit next week, it is better to rent it starting today.

  When can I get into my unit?  All units are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year.

 What is the difference between a temperature controlled and a standard unit?  Standard units are the roll-up doors you see and are convenient to drive up next to. Temperature controlled units are inside the building and are accessed through passageway doors into hallways.They are heated and cooled so that your stored items are not subjected to extremes in heat and cold. Temperature controlled units are better for longer term storage, furniture, electronics, books and clothes. And because they're on the interior of the building, they tend to keep you possessions cleaner than a standard unit. Carts are available to aid in moving your belongings in the building.

  Should I look at different size units before choosing ? After you have a reasonable idea about how much and what you want to store, a visit to see the actual unit makes your decision much more informed.

Suggestions for easy packing:

1.  Use high-quality packing boxes. 

2.  Use smaller size boxes for easier lifting especially when filled with heavy items like books and dishes.

3.  Use the same size boxes for easy stacking.

4.  Fill boxes completely, stuffing open areas with soft items or plain newsprint to prevent collapsing when stacked.

5.  Seal boxes completely with packing tape to keep out dust.

6.  Use bubble wrap or foam to protect glass items.

Suggestions for best storing:

1.  Store sofas (except sofa beds) on end to maximize space.

2.  Protect mattresses and furniture with pads and covers.

3.  Wrap mirrors and pictures with paper.  Never store flat.

4.  Disassemble tables and shelves and store on their sides.

5.  Use shelving to maximize your space.

6.  Label all boxes on several sides for easy locating.

7.  Store items you'll need most often at the front of the unit.
